One of my most favourite types of content on digital platforms is video. It is used on websites to demonstrate products, share expertise, drive traffic, convert into sales/downloads etc. Until the 5th (current standard) edition of HTML it was impossible to handle multimedia and graphical content.

To make sure the video can be played across in any browser, it should be encoded in different formats. Below is an example of three videos not encoded that way and failing to play in Internet Explorer.
We have then explored other features of coding videos such as autoplay, start time/end time etc.
Below is a sample video where another attribute called Poster was used. It specifies an image to show before the video loads. I chose the image from our desserts exercise!
